In light of the topic of 'juxtaposition' and 'layering', i took a screenshot of my ever transitory tumblr page. I learned that through the idea of identifying with a different individual, you address and illustrate a portrait of the self subconsciously. I can't really put a finger to it, but i've been constantly fascinated by the hues of flesh, forms, gestures, individualism and the idea of existence through photography. I constantly question on the real purpose of photography as a tool, but am equally flustered - struggling to produce a meaning to it (Should i Google right this minute?). Why do we identify with certain images and not others?
