Well, taste is perception and perception is taste. So how do we perceive? Can perception be taught? To have a being infront of the camera and convert that specific moment into a by product that is a photograph, says so much of existence. But when does documentation/ a session of portraiture becomes voyeurism? A sneaky intermingle of 'capturing an essence/ subjects' mannerism' and identity.. It is lovely when a specific tint in a photograph suggest and telegraphs one of memory. Memory not necessarily in a sense of recalling, but one that says of memory for the sake of having one. Yann Faucher captures the spirit of memory with such brilliance, and definitely with the help of the model who goes by the name of 'Scott'.
